I am a psychologist since 2003, when I graduated from PUC-Rio.
I began my professional career in the psychology area of health care institutions, such as Santa Casa de Misericórdia do Rio de Janeiro and Hospital Universitário Pedro Ernesto.
Since 2015, I work as a clinical psychologist, in my private office.
I am also a member and registered psychologist of Instituto Cultural Freud.
In 2017, after experiencing the benefits of mindfulness in my day-to-day routine, I decided to focus part of my studies in this area.
In 2019, as a result of my wish to join my office with a space for mindfulness practices, I founded Estúdio Sati, in Jardim Botânico. Unfortunately, during the Covid- 19 pandemic, the space was shut down.
It was also during the pandemic that I had the chance to participate in one of the most interesting projects of my career, with Time Humanidades. I joined a group of more than 60 psychologists, who provided free online treatments for emergency situations, during the pandemic. This experience resulted in a book, published in 2022, of which I am very proud to be part of.
Currently, I assist my patients at my office, in Leblon, where I also welcome mindfulness groups.

I have a specialization degree in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Children and Teenagers, from PUC- Rio and, in 2021, I concluded a course in Compassion Focused Therapy, with Professor Gonzalo Brito.
The psychology sessions may be associated with mindfulness techniques, if necessary, in the office (preferably) or online.
As I studied at an international school, from age 3 to 18, I am fluent and capable of conducting sessions in English.

I am a mindfulness instructor, trained at Centro de Mindfulness in Rio de Janeiro (2018).
In 2021, I concluded the training with Professor Tamara Russel on Neurocognitive Method Foundations, based on the Body in Mind Training.
In 2023, I also concluded the training of the Mindfulness Based Health Promotion (MBHP) programme. Developed by doctor Marcelo Demarzo and taught by Centro Mente Aberta, of the Escola Paulista de Medicina – UNIFESP, the MBHP protocol focuses on the improvement of social emotional skills, well-being, productivity and life quality.

To be mindful means to be aware of the present moment, our actions and choices.
Our everyday rush has led to an increase in levels of anxiety, stress and sleeping disorders. Many of these symptoms were aggravated by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The benefits of mindfulness practices include improvement in the immunological system, decrease in the level of cortisol (stress hormone), lower heart rate and blood pressure, improvement in sleep quality and a better capacity to focus.
Mindfulness can be practiced by children, teenagers and adults. The development of breathing techniques and the knowledge of our body are fundamental.
Besides the activities offered in the office, it is possible to schedule a lecture or course at your company (in person or online).
